An Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Human Development at Bradley University in Peoria, Jenny holds a master's degree in Reading and a doctorate in Educational Administration from Illinois State University. Jenny taught kindergarten through third grade in Peoria Heights from 1973 until 1990. She was principal at Elmwood Grade School for three years and Oakland School in Bloomington for six years. She came to Bradley University in 1999 in the educational administration program where she serves as the coordinator. When she took her first principalship in Elmwood, her superintendent, Maggie Noe, told her to join IWA and she's been a member ever since. She's served as membership chair, president, vice-president, and secretary as well as member-at-large on the board. She co-authored with Linda Lyman and Dianne Ashby a book sponsored by Illinois Women Administrators entitled Leaders Who Dare.
